This Privacy Policy explains how AlgoRishi (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you use algorishi.com and our applications (the “Platform”). We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and other applicable laws. • Account data: name, email, phone number, and password (stored hashed).
• Broker data (only with your consent): when you connect a broker (e.g., Upstox), we access market data and the account/trade information you explicitly authorise via their secure OAuth. We never see or store your broker password or PIN.
• Payment data: processed by Razorpay. We store only transaction references and status — never your full card/bank details.
• Usage data: device, browser, IP, pages viewed, and feature interactions, for security and product improvement.

2. How we use your data

• To provide, operate, and secure the Platform and its tools;
• To process subscriptions and payments;
• To display your own trades, journals, and verified performance to you;
• To communicate service updates, alerts you opt into, and support responses;
• To detect fraud, abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal basis and consent

We process your data based on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Platform. You may withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights”).

4. Sharing and third-party processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary to run the Platform, under appropriate safeguards:

• Upstox — broker market data and authorised account access;
• Razorpay — payment processing;
• Hosting/infrastructure — our own server infrastructure;
• Charting providers — for chart rendering.

We may also disclose data where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport (TLS), hashed passwords, encrypted storage of broker tokens, access controls, firewalls, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data diligently.

7. Your rights

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and limited analytics cookies to improve the Platform. You can control cookies via your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the Platform or by email. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
