Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you”, “User”) and AlgoRishi (“AlgoRishi”, “we”, “us”, “our”), operator of algorishi.com and its associated applications (the “Platform”). By registering for, accessing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. What AlgoRishi is — and is not

AlgoRishi is a technology platform providing charting, market analytics, trade journaling, performance verification, and educational/informational tools for the Indian securities market. All content, signals, scans, scores, and analytics on the Platform are provided on an “information-only” basis for educational purposes.

AlgoRishi does not provide investment advice, portfolio management, or stock/derivative recommendations, and is not, at present, registered with SEBI as a Research Analyst or Investment Adviser. Nothing on the Platform constitutes a solicitation, offer, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, of sound mind, and legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using the Platform you represent that you meet these criteria and that all information you provide is accurate and current.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Subscriptions, free trial, billing and refunds

• New users may receive a free trial period. Access to paid tool tiers requires an active paid subscription thereafter.
• Fees are stated on our Pricing page and are billed in advance for the chosen period. All fees are in INR and exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card details.
• Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. You may cancel to prevent future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Market risk disclaimer

Trading and investing in securities, derivatives, and options carry a high degree of risk and may result in the loss of your entire capital. Past performance, backtests, simulated/paper results, and illustrative figures are not indicative of future results. We make no representation or warranty as to any profit, and no assured or guaranteed returns are offered. Read all scheme/offer documents and consult a SEBI-registered adviser before investing.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) scrape, resell, or redistribute our data or content without written permission; (c) reverse-engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform; or (d) upload malicious code or misleading information.

7. Third-party services

The Platform integrates third-party services including broker APIs (e.g., Upstox) for market data and account information you authorise, payment gateways (Razorpay), and charting providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or acts of third parties, including market-data delays or outages.

8. Intellectual property

All software, design, text, and content on the Platform are owned by AlgoRishi or its licensors and are protected by applicable IP laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use during your subscription.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlgoRishi and its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any trading losses or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold AlgoRishi harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms or as required by law. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
